** PLEASE NOTE ** As of 08/12/2024 My current lead time on hand-laminated hatches is about 2-3 weeks but I am taking orders daily and my lead times can change quickly.  

I require a $50.00 deposit per hatch to secure a build slot which is NON-REFUNDABLE (store credit only) and will be applied toward your final invoice.  Please DO NOT book my time if you are not 100% committed to completing the order. 

Prior to starting your order I will send another invoice for 50% and 50% plus shipping will be due upon completion.

32" Wide at the widest point across the bottom and 20" Tall

This Universal Fiberglass Hatch is designed for the bow area of larger Center Console Boats or the deck area of Skiffs and Flats Boats.  It could also be adapted for many other uses.

It is available in several variations, as shown below. The lid can be made with or without the anchor line opening, and the hinges can be placed on the top or the port side. They can also be made without a hinge recess for a piano hinge. 

** SPECIAL NOTE: This hatch is designed for bows and decks that are 100% flat. If your bow area has a slight crown (similar to Contenders), this hatch will not work without custom glass work.

Each hatch receiver has roughly a 3.0" flange around the outside that can be trimmed to fit your deck cutout dimensions. 

Hatches do not include hardware; however, Gemlux hardware is available for an additional cost. 

Hatches may arrive with a light sanding on the Gelcoat because I typically sand off any mold imperfections before shipping.  A rubber seal can be added but not included.  All lids are made with 1/2" foam coring.
