Awlgrip High Build Epoxy Primer is a two-component epoxy surfacing primer designed for applications requiring substantial build and filling above the waterline. Ideal for use over Awlgrip primers and fairing compounds, it can also be applied directly to properly prepared wood or fiberglass surfaces. This primer effectively prevents solvent leaching and provides a smooth surface ready for topcoating.

Application Recommendations:

• Mix ratio: 1:1 by volume (Base: Converter)

• Reducers: T0076 or T0006 (up to 25% as needed)

• Induction time: 15 minutes after mixing

• Application method: Conventional or airless spray only

• Recommended wet film thickness: 8–10 mils (200–250 microns)

• Recommended dry film thickness: 4–5 mils (100–125 microns)

• Recoatability: With itself after 2 hours; with other products after 12–24 hours
