1708 Biaxial 45/45 50" Full Roll

1708 Biaxial Cloth FULL ROLL 110lbs approximately 52 Yards per roll. It is an ideal glass for tabbing, reinforcements, and other repairs, and it conforms well to contours. Flat, non-crimped fibers produce less print-through and greater stiffness than woven fabrics.

 

A .75-ounce chopped strand mat is stitched to the back of the 17-ounce roving, which has no styrene binders, making it suitable for use with epoxy and polyester resins.

 

Please note that if you plan to use epoxy laminating resin, the .75oz chopped strand mat will make this product much more challenging to wet out, and in most cases, the chopped strand mat is unnecessary when using epoxy resin. You may want to select 1700 Biaxial instead when using epoxy laminating resin. Adding the .75oz chopped strand mat will absorb about 30% more epoxy resin, resulting in a heavier and more brittle laminate.
